Accurate and efficient power system short-term load forecasting is helpful to the reasonable arrangement of power generation unit commitment, reasonable formulation of transmission line maintenance scheduling, to take the peak, peak averting measures, effectively reduce the power supply cost, maintain the grid security, stability, economic operation.With the development of economy and society in China, the summer cooling load and winter heating load of the proportion of city power network is more and more big, also is one of the main causes of seasonal power shortage, is our country’s important load. Load forecasting of the local power grid has become an important research problem in power system load forecasting. In this paper, based on the theory of adaptive dynamic programming, in North Guangxi region of Guilin city power network as the research object, based on analysis of Guilin city power grid load characteristics, introduced the comprehensive meteorological index--human comfort index (human comfort index is a comprehensive reflection of the body of the meteorological factors, temperature, humidity, wind speed and so on) gradually progressive, and the prediction error back to operation for correction, to improve the accuracy of. Finally, through the practical example verifies the feasibility and practicability of the model.
