China’s Southwest is mountainous, and is abundant water resources, the westernregion’s transportation infrastructure construction in the background of the large-scaledevelopment of the western region, on the one hand, to strengthen the construction ofthe highway, on the other hand a lot of the construction of hydropower project todevelop hydropower resources in the western region. Consideration of the constructioncost, route selection, often through the terrain is relatively flat valley, and these valleyregion is rich in water resources suitable for the construction of the hydropower project,at the result, highway engineering and hydropower project in the same area, and theformation of a large number of the reservoir bank roadbed. Bank Rebuilding in repeatedchanges in multiple roles, and the water level of the reservoir bank embankment by thereservoir water, causing the roadbed cracking, subsidence, collapse, diseases of theslope and abutment cone slope deformation and instability, serious impact on the use ofthe highway performance and driving safety. Therefore, to carry out mountain valleyReservoir Bank Collapse Prediction and roadbed stability evaluation study hasimportant theoretical significance and engineering application value.This article to the horse the Yunnan Honghe lengqing highway blocking the mountainthe hydropower reservoir area segment embankment of the reservoir bank collapseshore as a model to study from the following aspects of the mountain valley reservoirbank subgrade bank collapse prediction and evaluation of stability.(1) According to the hydrogeologic conditions of Yunnan Madushan hydropower stationin the lengqing highway subgrade bank, based on the investigation of slope of subgradediseases and deserted highway, geological establishment of mountain valley area ofbank roadbed typical conceptual model.(2) Based on investigation and analysis of bank collapse of lengqing highway subgradebank after impounding, the typical mode of bank slump that the bank roadbed.(3) On value and method of bank collapse prediction parameters, by comparing theprediction parameters of deserted highway bank collapse; suitability analysis of theexisting prediction methods of obtaining suitable method of bank collapse, in themountains of river-type reservoir bank subgrade bank collapse prediction andverification.(4) Through the geotechnical software, seepage and stress finite element analysis, the different permeability coefficient, precipitation rate, slope structure, rainfall and slopestability state of slope were studied, prediction method of slope stability evaluation isobtained.(5) Select the typical section of lengqing highway subgrade slope, evaluate the bankcollapse prediction and the stability of the roadbed.
