It is in high-speed development period to highway construction of Guizhou. Moreand more, will we face problem of soft soil foundation with the advancement ofhighway construction. Guizhou highway construction is in a high-speed developmentperiod. It is great economic benefit and social benefits that the way of reinforcing softsoil foundation with CFG pile would be popularized in Guizhou mountainous area softsoil improvement of highway.First, this paper expounds the concept, characteristics and properties of soft soil,analyses the cause of formation and characteristics of soft soil in Guizhou, investigatescommonly method that used by soft foundation treatment of mountainous area inGuizhou. Second, make concrete analysis to interaction mechanism of pile, pile soil andmattress layer between of the CFG pile composite foundation, elaborated the calculationmethod of this demonstration project used bearing capacity and sedimentation of CFGpile composite foundation, and explains how to reasonably choose the designparameters of CFG pile composite foundation. Then, depend on demonstration projectof the18th contract section of soft soil foundation of highway in Guizhou, according tothe engineering geological conditions of the demonstration project, introduces thedemonstration project for design scheme of soft soil foundation of CFG pilereinforcement. And Researches test model of centrifugal with designing scheme,studiesthe reliability of the solution. Based on test analysis of static load test, known that thebearing capacity of single pile is higher, with that,composite foundation bearingcapacity are improved greatly. So it satisfies the requirement of the design bearingcapacity of composite foundation. We known the treatment effect of soft foundationreinforced by CFG pile is preferably, through analysis of the demonstration projectin-depth. According to the existing optimization design theory, design a new treatmentscheme of the segment of the soft soil foundation,based on the new train of thought ofthe optimization design according to the dual control of bearing capacity and settlementwith MATLAB software. The new design scheme not only possessing a greatereconomic advantage and improving the work efficiency of the design, but also satisfy the requirements of the composite foundation bearing capacity and settlement control.This new design method has a good prospect of popularization and application. Finally,put forward some issue what should be further research, contraposing the shortcomingsof the paper.
