With development of China’s transport, as a form of transportation through themountains, tunnels more and more widely used, especially in recent years, with themature development of the NATM. Due to the tunnel surrounding rock deformationcharacteristics, while the second lining as the safety reserves of the tunnel, the tunnelreasonable support time is especially important. It is an important guarantee of safetyand quality of tunnel construction. Therefore, a reasonable second lining Supportingtiming is imperative, and a very important guiding significance for the tunnelconstruction.In this paper, relying on the Xiang-Huang tunnel of Nan’an District, through the actualsite monitoring measurement data, as well as carrying out tunnel excavationsimulation using ansys that is a large finite element software, and eventually combinewith field measurement results and simulation results to specificly analysis tunnelsecondary lining reasonable supporting time.In this paper, mostly, carrying on thefollowing studies with the tunnel secondary lining applications:①With the current research status, introduce that determine the mechanism ofanalysis of the tunnel secondary lining supporting time, and the research methods oftunnel secondary lining supporting time, mainly:the elastic-plastic analysis method,the measured data analysis method and tunnel model simulation analysis.②In this paper, relying on the xiang-huang tunnel of Nan’an District, Chongqingxiang-huang road,monitoring measurement peripheral convergence and vault sinkingof the tunnel and analysis monitoring measurement data. Mainly to observed theaccumulative deformation of peripheral convergence and vault sinking with the tunnelexcavation, and data convergence.③Using finite element software ANSYS simulates three-dimensional modelingof tunnel excavation, class III, IV and V rock to calculate the deformation of tunnelsurrounding rock, mainly to calculate the Horizontal displacement and Verticaldisplacement of the tunnel, that is the tunnel peripheral convergence and vault sinking.Comparatively analysis the results and monitoring and measurement Results ofxiang-huang tunnel. Eventually,come to the results of the best time of the tunnelsecondary lining.
