Compared with the other brake, disc brake has good cooling characteristics andbraking stability,while it has good braking performance in all kinds of road surface.Agrowing number of small and medium vehicle are using disc brakes for front and rearwheels, but the current domestic research material of overloading disc brake isrelatively small, therefore, studying the disc brake for truck with can create high highsocial, economic and academic benefit.The mainly contents of this paper are shown below:In order to apply disc brake to heavy duty vehicles,calculation method of thebraking torque is analyzed based on the summary of Carlisle brake products,whileenhancing contact brake pressure is used as a main method of improving the braketorque,then a disc brake system suitable for the overloading vehicles is established.In order to analysis the effect of brake used on large-tonnage vehicle,a couplingfield calculation model is established.after systematically analysissing heat flowdistribution coefficient of friction, a three-dimensional temperature field mathematicalmodel of braking is established.To get accurate results, the heat flow density methodand heat-structure coupling method are both used, and the results show that the heatstructure coupling algorithm is more accurate.In order to study coupling field distribution of brake pair,ABAQUS explicitalgorithm is used to analysis the large tonnage disc brake three-dimensional model onthe basis of heat-structure coupling method.After analysising the coupling temperaturefield distribution along the circumferential,the radial and axial distribution,the reasons isalso discussed while change rule of the highest temperature during the brake process iscontrasted.In order to study the influence factors of the brake coupling field,the highesttemperature Tmax in braking process is used as a main index to analysis the influencerule of braking condition and material properties on the highest temperature Tmax,at theend,the material performance is optimizd by5percent to studying the tendency of thecoupling field.
