In the past half century, cable-stayed bridge had a vigorous development, but for many of the early construction of cable-stayed bridge, because of the cable damage or corrosion affect the bridge safety, so the cable had to replaced. Furthermore,other cable-stayed bridge has been completed will also face the problem of cable replacement. In the process of cable replacement,different cable replacement sequence for both bridge structure safety and cable replacement period have significant influence,This paper take Fuling Yangtze River bridge for example,study on different cable replacement sequence, the structural conditions of the bridge.This paper enumerates three kinds of cable replacement sequence,comparative analysis under the three kinds of cable replacement sequence, The change of the maximum stress of all cable and the corresponding safety modulus,the vertical displacement of bridge deck and the stress of the main beam,moreover,comprehensive consideration the factors for cable construction period.Thus obtained the result of the scheme comparison and selection,guided the construction of cable exchanging effectively. Among them, the cable replacement scheme of every time change8cables seldom see in the current China, which has certain research value to fastly complete the construction of cable exchanging in the precondition of ensuring the safety of the cable-stayed bridge.
