Clean energy has got more and more attention from the society with the nervous energy situation, as well as the pollution of urban air. Grid-connected PV has got more concerne in the area of academia and industry at home and abroad lately.This paper focuses on the design of power generation systems of grid-connected photovoltaic power plant according to the project overview. The main contents are as follow:Design the main electrical wiring, PV array-transformer combinations, boost mode of photovoltaic power plants and select the major equipment of primary side according to the project overview, installed capacity and the initial investment and maintenance cost. On this basis, design secondary side from the two sides of management and operation, and computer monitoring system.Analysis formulas of solar irradiance of horizontal and inclined surfaces, it can get a conclusion that when the angle is36°the plant can get maximum mean annual electric energy production according to the formulas. A kind of operation that changes angle monthly was put forward. Every month’s optimum angle has been got via RETScreen. Curve chart shows that the operation mode can obviously improve the PV module’s ability to utilize the solar radiation.On the basis of analysis of the mathematical model of the LCL filter, Design the technical parameters of the LCL filter. The output current and its harmonics through LCL filter were simulated via Matlab/Simulink. Result indicates that the output current waveform has been significantly improved. A dual-closed loops voltage space vector control strategy whose output current and harmonics were simulated via Matlab/Simulink was designed. The current waveform has been obviously improved and the harmonics content meet the index requirements for current harmonic technique of grid-connected system. The photoelectric conversion efficiency has been further improved.
