In this article, numerical simulation analysis of tapered piles and circular pilesis carried out on two respects, the pile-soil interaction and bearing capacity ofsingle pile, mainly including pile penetration and pile capacity numericalsimulation analysis.First, during the prefabricated tapered pile penetration, the soil is extrudeddensely in a certain region, thereby the local strength of the soil is improved. Thissituation is similar to the cavity expansion, therefore the cavity expansion theory isused to describe the change of stress field and displacement field.ALE of ABAQUSis used to analyz the horizontal stress、 Vertical stress and PEEQ duringpenetration.Second, the theoretical analysis of the tapered Piles destruction mode and loadtransfer are given, and the allowable bearing capacity calculation methods oftapered Piles are introduced. ABAQUS is used to analysis the relevant aspects ofbearing capacity. Finally, give some suggestions on further research directions.
