As a prime style of arch bridge which has been for over three thousant years upto now.With the continuous construction of steel arch bridge at home andabroad,the accident often occurs,so the stability of bridge becomes more and moreimportant,and the stability problem becomes the important control factors of archbridge design.This paper bases on the steel box girder arch bridge near the chaohu.By using thestability theory of nonlinear theory and the arch bridge,and establishing the finiteelement analysis model,in order to analysis the first stability problem and thesecond stability problem of arch bridge.At last,I get the critical load coefficient ofarch bridge online elastic and nonlinear case, and get some conclusion. At the sametime, by changing the influence factors of the bridge, to explore the effect ofvariation of parameters on the stability of the bridge, in order to obtain thecorresponding conclusion and provide some help for the design of this kind of archbridge.
