The last kilometer of electricity network of the power system in China haveproblems on a large number of users,the complexity of the environment of thescene,the inconsistent of geographical distribution,high cost pressure and the lowquality of communication media,so electricity sector of our country need to choosereasonable communication mode for different geographical environment and theconcentrator, collector and electric energy meter of meter reading system need tohave compatibility of various communication mode. How to make the grid datatransfer seamlessly between two different communication networks (heterogeneousnetworks)is a difficult and good prospects subject. In this paper, many kinds ofcommunication gateways between different types of communication network aredesigned based on the research of the framework structure of multi-agent urbanenergy meter reading system overall and DL/T645communication protocol. It has acertain theoretical significance and application value.The main contents of this article are as follows:1、 The overall design and network framework, and network topology ofmulti-agent power meter reading system network is provided based on the analysisof a variety of technical specifications and communication protocol in the powermeter reading system, and combined with the structure of the power meter readingsystem network, the sub-agent is elaborated., Then the various communicationmodes involved in meter reading system are analyzed and designed.2、 The heterogeneous network gateway between ZigBee and TCP/IP,broadband power line carrier and IP networks, ZigBee and GPRS, power linecarrier and RS485is designed based on the analysis of the data frame structuralfeatures in protocol of the DL/T645communication, and their data frame formatand protocol stack structure are analyzed and improved, and then data conversionmodel and gateway protocol model are provided.3、The overall hardware, the backstage management software, concentrator andcollector hardware of electricity centralized meter reading system is designed combined with the framework of centralized meter reading system,and the designof hardware and software of each gateway is illustrated.4、The gateway and the collector is systematic tested after the system design,and performance testing of ZigBee-GPRS gateway and the entire collection isdescribed in detail. Whether GPRS module and ZigBee module can receive data isdetected through serial debugging assistant, and then the ZigBee and GPRS fusionof networking is tested. The normal send and receive data performance and otherrelated performance of collector equipment are tested, and the test results is given.
