Pre-stressed concrete pipe pile has some advantages, such as, high pipe capacity、high construction speed and good economy, more and more widely applied in foundation engineering. Shear capacity is main bearing indicators of pre-stressed concrete piles in the earthquake and support engineering. But there are little research about shear capacity, there are many practical engineering accident about pile because of shear capacity is insufficient, it is important to take research about shear capacity of pipe piles.The full scale experiment of the shear performance was carried out on the PHC800AB110-13pipe pile and using the finite element software to simulate. The experimental results showed that:Pile cracking shear value slightly higher than the standard requirements; Pipe pile shear cracks in the shear span was30°diagonal cracks, Outside the pure bending segment and Supports cracks along the longitudinally to carry out. Create pipe pile model to simulate pipe pile shear experiment with finite element software ANSYS, the calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental data, show that the1simulation results are credible.4sets of finite element model was calculated and analyzed to research how the concrete effective pre-stress, wall thickness, shear span ratio and stirrup rate pile shear performance to affect shear capacity of pipe piles. The whole process reveals the impact of various factors on the pile cracking characteristics and cracking shear. The results show that:The concrete effectively pre-stress for every2MPa crack shear increased by6%, fracture dip decreases5°; Cracking Shear improve with increased wall thickness, the same pile of radius to thickness ratio form of cracking and fracture characteristics similar; shear span ratio less affected cracking shear; principal stress tracing line of pipe pile is opposite with rectangular cross-section beams; Stirrup ratio increases the crack pipe pile shear slightly higher, less impact on the characteristics of cracking.
