Development Of Experimental Platform For Certain Type Vertical And Horizontal Reducer Mechanical Properties Test

Gear reducer,which is widely used in industrial field, is a kind of equipment fordecreasing the revolutions of prime motor and enlarging the torque of transmission.Withthe increasing of the mechanical equipments’ holding volumn and new production inChina, their matching gear reducers are becoming larger and larger on the aspect ofvolumn, specfications and varieties. After decades of research and application, the gearreducer has been applied in many field, including chemical、metallurgy、coal、ship、hydropower and construction machinery etc. Therefore, how to develop a detectionsystem to test and evaluate the overall performance of the reducer has become animportant and significant subject. Based on these, the paper has been on the contents ofthe following aspects to make a more detailed study:1、 For the difference between vertical reducer and horizontal reducer on theinstallation method, under the same test solution, we take the same detection theory, theone is the test block, and the other is the tested block.2、Control systems are mainly made up of the PLC logic controller and frequencyconversion. This paper presents relay and PLC control programs, because PLC has astrong functions and high performance price ratio; complete hardware package; the useris easy to use; high reliability, strong anti-jamming; it is easy to design program andinstall; the programs are easy to transplant; small size; its low energyconsumption,finally we take the PLC as the platform of control system.3、The test bed we take LabVIEW as a develop platforms of PC programmingsoftware. PC software is to achieve the sensor information’s collection, preservation, andinteractive displays in the control panel, according to the experimental requirements, wecan generate test reports. For test safely, we configure the permissions management andsecurity alarm programs.
