As for the higher output power and the better dynamic performance, two-stroke engines regain our favors in the energy scarce increasing days. The study on two-stroke engine is also increasingOn the engine friction, the study on four-stroke engine friction has achieved a great progress.To some extent, the mechanism of friction phenomenon has been well explained and the corresponding preventive measures have also been improved continuously. However, the study on the small two-stroke engine friction is rather rare.This article used the Hitachi’s engine crankshaft connecting rod mechanism, set up to replace the fuel burning power and rotational speed switch to more stable motor, through the simulation engine ignition run state, used motoring method for experimental study.The test is divided into three parts:the first one is for cylinder and piston skirt with cellulose paint spraying processing, according to the cellulose paint peeling situation to analyze abrasion of piston motion with cylinder interface; The second is describing the motion rule of piston with an eddy current displacement sensor measuring the piston movement in the process of displacement of the piston and the cylinder clearance size. The third section is observing the piston movement condition of a transparent cylinder with camera photography, observing and analyzing the different position of the piston during different time;Conclusion:(1) Test apparatus constructed in this paper, the testing goals can be achieved with motor drag down method to simulate two-stroke engine ignition operation state analysis of friction state is feasible.(2) Non-contact eddy current displacement sensor was used to measure the piston and cylinder clearance, according to the clearance variation regulation mechanism to explore the slap phenomenon has the feasibility.(3) Slap phenomenon in exhaust gas side and air inlet side especially in the exhaust side is more serious。The effect of piston skirt also plays an important part in considering about the attrition and sintering between the piston and cylinder.(4) Serious roll motions of piston exits during piston secondary motion. When times of rotating is the same, piston skirt will have the same roll motion during piston first motion. When times of rotating changes, the roll motion of piston skirt will also be different.
