It will graduallyeliminate the process of human civilization witness, as well as human populationmemories undoubtedly, Therefore, in the grate development age of information, tocreate a people with curiosity and the commemorative landscape that coincidencepeople s curiosity and sense of identity become very urgent.This paper mainly aimed at the reflect problems of current situation of memoriallandscape, Starting from the angle of protection and inheritance, Putting forwardintroduce questions, problem analysis and problem solving attitude, To study thedesign principles, design methods and design content of memorial landscape, andcombined with the results of the research investigation verified. This paper’s specificresearch includes the following four parts:(1)Summarized the research progress of theory and practice of the memoriallandscape at home and abroad, defines the main content of the research and theconcepts related to the commemorative landscape, introduces the main researchmethod. And analyze the situation of the memorial landscape based on investigationand research, summed up a series of problems reflected in the shape, and then drawthe importance of protection and inheritance concept in landscape construction, and elaborates the realistic meaning in-depth.(2)Analysis the research object in-depth, using the new insights, obtained thenew classification of landscape, expand the memorial landscape evolution forms,from single to commemorate memorial space gradually progressive process.According to the paper research key words, detailed analysis and research theprotection and heritage of commemorative landscape, including the specific measuresfor landscape protection and legal protection, and different inheritance contents ofabstract and concrete on a variety of memory landscape, on this base research thefunction and space development of memorial landscape, and definition thedevelopment goals.(3)Explore the design of memorial landscape based on the protection andinheritance. Including protective, culture leading, composite function and ecologicalaesthetics four principles during designing; mainly used implicit and explicit designtechniques, the symbol and metaphor implicit, explicit representation and description;and gradually explore the design contents of memorial landscape, the uniquelandscape style inheritance, cultural landscape of the depth of excavation, the mainobject of exchanges to strengthen and expand regional design.(4)In the case research, selected representative of the memorial landscape DatangFurong garden in xi an area, study and analyze the embodiment of protection andinheritance, and point to the existing problems, applies this study results, puts forwardsome effective strategies to improve the landscape, carry out the research results intopractice.
