We can get the primary circuit pressure boundary leakage rate by measuring the18F radioactivity in the containment, which is the new technology and new methods ofmonitoring circuit pressure boundary leakage rate,it is also a new trend of the primarycircuit pressure boundary leakage monitoring technology.At first, the article analyzes the characteristics of18F and the interferingnuclides,then obtains the way how to detecting18F,with the use of PIPSsemiconductor detector which is insensitive to γ-ray and the solutions of mixedspectra of β spectrum.Then this paper designs the18F detection system,which containssampler and electronics.The electronics consist of charge sensitive preamplifier, mainamplifier, multi-channel pulse amplitude analyzer.And the performance index testingof the detection system was completed, the results basically meet the conditions toobtain the energy spectrum data.It needs the solutions of mixed spectrum when we get the mixed spectrum. Spectrumanalysis programming for mixed β spectrum using C language is designed,and the core method ofthe program is Curie paints. We use mixed β spectrum of137Cs and90Sr-90Y for testing under thelaboratory conditions.After energy spectrum analysis,we can get the energy spectrum data andactivity of137Cs and90Sr-90Y,and laboratory experimental tests the result is good.This Spectrumanalysis programming can be used for measuring specific nuclide activity from mixed βradioactive nuclide of the nuclear power plant containment atmosphere.Generally speaking, the study provides ideas for domestic18F monitor development.
