Ion cyclotron resonance heating is an important way for auxiliary heating intokamak, which can heat ion effectively, control plasma toroidal rotation and improveplasma confinement. Investigation on fast wave heating is of great significance forachieving ignition condition and high-performance operation of the future nuclearfusion reactors. The coupling efficiency of the interaction between transmitingterminal of the antenna and plasma in the process of the plasma heating by ICRHantenna, as well as the electromagnetic distribution on the Faraday shield is studied inthis paper.Firstly, dispersion relation of tokamak plasma and the relation of ion cyclotrondamping with the antenna emission spectrum is deduced by dynamic equation andMaxwellian equations under the conditions that the ion temperature of centraltokamak plasma is1.5keV and the ion distribution is Maxwell distribution.Secondly, the relation of the power reflection coefficient in tokamak plasma surface andabsorption attenuation to the emission spectrumn n// are deduced by using a stratifiedplasma slab and the W.K.B approximation. The effect of fast wave minority heating indifferent emission spectrum of ICRH antenna conditions when EAST working in twotypical magnetic intensity are numerical calculated. Thirdly, the electromagnetic forceanalysis for Faraday shield are carried out by applying finite difference time domain(FDTD)method and the formulas under the two cases of plasma disruption andvertical displacement event when the tokamak plasma worked in circle section and Dsection separately. The simulation results show that under the same conditions, thecoupling efficiency and the effect of fast wave minority ions heating can be improvedand enhanced by suitable spectrumn n//of ICRH antenna. The place where theelectromagnetic force is bigger should be consolidated.
