With the rapid growth of the national economy and the rapid development of railwaybusiness, the reliability and safety of railway power supply system and local power system aremore and more attention. Traction substation is the main cause of harmonic wave, negativesequence and reactive of the railway power supply system, and the harmonic interferenceissues are also increasingly serious with the development of high-speed railway, heavy load,load changing. It not only affects the normal operation of the railway system, but also a threatto the power quality of local electric power system. Therefore, researching the variablecompensation technology of electric power in electric railway traction to improve the powerquality of electrified railway and establishing a comprehensive compensation and equipmentresearch with theoretical and practical value.Selecting MATLAB as the experimental platform and set up the YNvd balancetransformer model on the basic theory and structure analysis of balance transformer. Weanalyzed the transformer imbalance under Normal, unbalanced and fault condition of load toverify the correctness of the simulation model of YNvd balance transformer. Anglicizing oftransformer in the normal, unbalanced load and run under fault condition is not balance, toverify the YNvd balanced transformer the correctness of the simulation model.Anglicizing the synchronous method and instantaneous reactive current ip-iq testlimits.Based on the advantages of the two detection methods, we proposed the synchronousdetection method of voltage phase-locked and introduced into current detection, Through thesimulation experiment to proved that Voltage phase-locked synchronous detection methodimproved the accuracy of current detection When the asymmetry and distortion in the grid.Based on the analysis of the control method of the common filter, we simulated the threecontrol methods, that PI-DC, AC-deadbeat control has fast dynamic response and detectionaccuracy through comparative analysis.Establishing the traction substation active compensation system combined with theresults of YNvd as well as detection and control of the active filter device in the MATLABenvironment, simulat the five cases of system such as two pure resistance of traction load andso on. The conclusions provided a theoretical basis for improve the comprehensivecompensation of electrified railway active.
