Scanning electrochemical microscopy is a kind of electrochemical field detectiontechnology, this technology drive very small electrode (probe) to scan near the sample, andthe sample can be conductor, semiconductor or insulation, and then it will get thecorresponding related electrochemical information of the micro area.The paper introduces research background, present situation, related technology andsystem structure of scanning electrochemical microscopy; and then it puts forward a kind ofupper device software architecture of scanning electrochemical microscopy, and it alsodesigns and implements the upgoing and downgoing data protocol. The paper uses example ofCV experiment to analyze the software design in detail. The paper puts forward that the wholesoftware system is divided into GUI layer, Module layer, Hal layer and Protocol layer.Compared with other development method, this method reduces the complexity ofsystem development. So it’s convenient to modify, test and maintain the system. Thisarchitecture separates the modules, so the modification of one module does not impact othermodules. At the same time, it helps the developers work in parallel, as long as the interfacesbetween modules are confirmed, programmers can work with each other that reduces thecoupling and complexity of the software modules.The GUI layer is implemented by C#.NET, while the real-time curve is implemented byZedgraph; Module layer, Hal layer and Protocol layer is implemented by ANSI C andWindows API of reading and writing equipment, and this method has loose coupling, strongscalability and maintainability etc. The system test is divided into unit test, offline integrationtest and on-line test to ensure the software quality.Developing scanning electrochemical microscopy products with independent intellectualproperty rights is not only reasonable, but also is necessary. And the scanning electrochemicalmicroscopy products with independent intellectual property can also be customized accordingto the needs of users and secondary development.
