As environmental issues become more prominent, wind energy,as a clean andpollution-free green energy, is gradually being paid attention to by many countries.The large-scale development of wind energy is conducive to the development of thecountry’s low-carbon energy and is one of the important projects of nationalsustainable development.Compared to onshore wind turbine, offshore wind turbine has some advantages.Offshore wind turbine doesn’t need occupation of land resources and offshore windspeed is bigger and stability. So many coastal countries regard the development ofoffshore wind power as an important measure to cope with environmental problems.Currently most of the offshore wind turbine projects are located in Europe. Europe’soffshore wind turbine technology is also the world leader. Compared to Westerncountries, study on offshore wind turbine is just on the threshold in our nation.With the rapid development of the offshore wind turbine,offshore wind turbinewill be constructed not only in shallow sea but also in deep sea, and the foundationalstructure of offshore floating wind turbine will develop from solid foundation tofloating foundation. The study on offshore floating wind turbine is not yet mature, anda lot of work is referenced to marine engineering.The simulation of the wind turbine load is an important factor is to ensure theresults of the test. In most of the existing model experiments, the effect of the windturbine is equivalent to a rotating disk or simulated by making scaled model of windturbine, even is thought as constant. Whether thought as a rotating disk or constant,they are different from the actual wind turbine load. Scaled model of wind turbine,based on the similarity theory, is equally difficult to satisfy multiple similarity law.In this paper, for the simulation of wind turbine load in offshore floating windturbine model experiment, based on the load characteristic that wind turbine load islow-frequency and the peak is small, a new load simulation device based on airinjection is presented. We obtain the relationship between the airflow control signaland the reaction force by demarcate. Load obtained by numerical simulation of thewind turbine are converted to the corresponding airflow control signal, and the signal is corrected in frequency and time domains as the response characteristics of thedevice to airflow changes. Than we use the signal to control the airflow to simulate aforce history and a moment history. Over the test, the load simulated by the device canmatch with the actual load in the time and frequency domain, and the device cancomplete the simulation of the force history and the moment history.In the paper, we complete the simulation of a force history and a moment historyand prove that the principle of the device is feasible, but there are areas forimprovement in the practical application.
