In order to alleviate the energy crisis and meet the needs of the new energy power, the microgrid that includes various distributed energy resources, load, the storage devices and the control device can operate in both grid-connected and islanded modes flexibly, which can improve the utility of the distributed energy resources and the reliability of the load demand and has got extensive attention of all countries. However, such as wind power, photovoltaic power generation system are influenced by the natural factors, the output energy have the intermittent and randomness shortcomings, makes the energy flow process in microgrid complicated, and then affect the stability and reliability of the system. Therefore, we need to optimize and management the system’s internal energy. Take the microgrid with wind/PV/battery energy resources for example in this paper, study the energy optimization problem of the system in the different work modes.To maximize the utilization of renewable energy, this article research on the different energy flow problems of the microgrid in the different working modes. On the basis of the meet of the different constraints such as the load demand, the battery’s state of charge and so on, study the problems like the scheduling of the start-stop of the wind/light generating unit, the charging and discharging of the battery, load switch and the energy interact with grid at first, then put forward the different optimization scheduling policy and built the corresponding model of unit commitment with the objective of minimizing the operating cost. Then the Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm algorithm (PSO) and Electromagnetism-like Mechanism (ELM) is used to solve the optimization model respectively. An example is introduced to prove the feasibility of the optimization strategy and the algorithm; Finally, compare the advantages and disadvantages of two optimization algorithms and analyzes and summarizes the work, and puts forward the new prospect and the research need to be study in the future.
