Energy is a material base of national economy, social development and people’sliving level improving. Energy problem is an important issue to the people’s livelihood.With the rapid development of science and technology, and the constant improving ofeconomic level, human demand for energy is growing. With the energy demandincreasing each passing day, humans are worried the energy crisis and environmentalpollution problems. Solar energy has a wide variety compared with the other energy,including wide variety of sources, simple development, safe, pollution-free and series ofadvantages, so as to get national attention. But the photovoltaic (PV) system, especiallythe off-grid PV system, has been the existence of low conversion efficiency, chemicalenergy storage equipment for environmental secondary pollution. Therefore, it has avery important significance improving the off-grid PV system’s light-electricityconversion efficiency, eliminating energy storage equipment’s secondary pollution.This master’s thesis had a following research on the off-grid PV lighting systemfrom the angle of transportation energy saving lighting:①The research introduced and analyzed the main parts of the transportationenergy saving lighting. Based on introducing the LED lighting system, PV battery,inverter, energy storage system and analyzing the recent advances, put forward theflywheel energy storage PV lighting system from asynchronous motor. The system ofenergy storage components based on asynchronous motor flywheel energy storagesystem. On the one hand, it solved the secondary pollution efficiently; on the other hand,it had long life, high efficiency advantages compared with traditional chemical energystorage equipment.②The research analyzed the characteristics of PV cell and established amathematical model of PV cell. It introduced and analyzed the principle and method ofthe PV system’s Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). Aiming at the transportationenergy saving lighting system features a selection of suitable for the system with MPPTcontrol method.③The research analyzed and researched the MPPT control method and Boostcircuit. At the same time, analyzed and established mathematical models of bypasscapacitance, inductance, and capacitance.④In the stable external environment, perturbation and observation method existence duty ratio overshoot phenomenon, so as to cause the instability of outputpower. This study used in time domain analysis, established the disturbance voltage atboth ends of the bypass capacitor changes in mathematical model. By use of theestablished mathematical model of fixed step perturbation and observation method andthe variable-step perturb and observe method in the presence of duty ratio overshoot areanalyzed in detail. Put forward a kind of improved perturbation and observation methodat last. The system reduces the ripple current, ripple voltage at the same time, not onlyin the change of the external environment with fast response and stable in the externalenvironment is relatively stable output power.⑤This research introduced the control principle and control strategy of inductionmotor. According to the characteristics of traffic energy saving lighting system, selectthe direct torque control of induction motor speed control strategy. The PV powergeneration and flywheel energy storage components are combined, the flywheel batterycharged and discharge controlled ultimately.⑥Finally, MATLAB SIMULINK simulation proved the correctness andfeasibility of the theory, and laid the foundation for the practical application of nextresearch.
