The reinforced concrete structure of China though started late。 But it developsrapidly. Large bridge construction has entered the world advanced level, and Chinahas created many world biggest bridge; the application of new materials, newtechnology has also considerable progressed. Although China has lots of civilengineer practical experience, the theoretical study mismatchs the experience. In thispaper, it mainly studies the shear capacity. The following aspects are carried out:①It summarizes the similarities and differences of four different shear bearingcapacity formula. Advantages and disadvantages of the four formula are comparedamong them.②It summarizes several previous used the shear capacity calculation Theoryand determines to use nonlinear finite element analysis to study the s hear capacity.③Using ANSYS fininte element software, the influences of stirrup ratio, Shearspan ratio and longitudinal reinforcement ratio on rectangular section beams shearcapacity is studied. Some regular patterns are summarized.④It also researches the influences on shear capacity of rectangular sectionbeams under different arrangement of vertical prestressed steel and different tensioncontrol stress levels. It uses ANSYS software to simulate the six layouts of thevertical prestressed and three stress levels to get shear capacity feature.
