Dependent upon the branch subject of the tutor’s national973project, researches were done on the analysis method of the arch stone bridge with defects and diseases. The main work and conclusions are as follows:(1) The mechanic features of defects and diseases of the stone part were analyzed, which could be classified into two kinds, say, the "body inteneration" of the deterioration of stone part’s partial mechanic features, and the partial "surface missing" that affects the structural load transfer. The model method of finite element analysis was also discussed.(2) Through the model analysis of finite element, the influence of the partial "body inteneration" on the stone structure was studied, and the influence range of the "body inteneration" was analyzed. Then the concept of the influence factor of body inteneration and the corresponding formulae were proposed. According to the corresponding relationship between the body inteneration and the influence range, the concept of the nominal elastic modulus E of the body inteneration and the influence range and the formulae.(3) According to the model data analysis, the influence of "surface missing" on the stone part was discussed, the formulae of the peak tress value on the verge of the surface missing were proposed. And according to the mechanic balance principle within the influence range and the digital analysis, the stress value formulae within the influence range of surface missing was proposed.(4) The diseases of partial "body inteneration" and the "surface missing" were accounted into the analysis model of the stone arch bridge. In the analysis of the main arch’s carrying state under different degrees of diseases, it was found that body inteneration and surface missing obviously made the influence range of the main arch rearrange the stress and led to the deformation of the main arch’s line shaft, which might be an important reason for the deficiency of the stone arch bridge.
