The inverted-V concentrically braced steel frame (CBSF) is a newly developed structure,which is not often applied to construction project and is not often researched.So this paperuses static pushover method to analyse two groups inverted-V concentrically braced steelstructure behavior of the seismic performance. the first group is inverted-V concentricallybraced steel structure of three different stories,other group is12floors inverted-Vconcentrically braced steel structure of four diffeent arranged brace.Firstly, this paper uses the SAP2000software to analyse first group inverted-Vconcentrically braced steel structure on Pushover method. When the first group underpushover analysis and under the lateral loading, the paper uses capacity spectrum method toget load-displacement curves, the plastic hinge generated sequence and the weakest positionof the structure. Then the paper summarizes the influence of the pushover curve and theplastic hinge location of the hinge sequence under the lateral load patterns. Consideringpreventing the rare six~eight occurred earthquake intensity, obtains performance point of thestructure and the top structure’s maximum, displacement and maximum angular displacementbetween layers on performance points, and evaluates seismic performance under the raresix~eight occurred earthquake of the structure.Secondlly, this paper uses the SAP2000software to analyse second group inverted-Vconcentrically braced steel structure on Pushover method.
