Slope protection and treatment is a common technical problem in geological engineeringwhich involves a variety area like national defense, road, railway, water conservancy, civilengineering and municipal works. Anchorage is a typical method for the slope treatment. Asthe developing of anchorage technics, there is a higher requirement of the reasonability andeconomy of anchoring design.The normal single-angled pre-stressed anchors can’t adequately play its anti-sliding forcewhich causes the anti-sliding force can’t meet the safety requirement. The mechanism modelof the slope and the sliding plane is established by analyzing the slope stability influencefactors and anchoring mechanism. Based on geometric relationship, the formula of optimalangle of anchor system considering the influence of anchor root and head is deduced. UsingANSYS, this paper analyzes the stress and displacement field of the slope in NorthernShaanxi slope enforcement project. The results show that the optimal dip angle of theanchorage is from35°to45°. The reasonability of the anchorage angle is verified by themonitoring data.The result of this paper has certain theoretical and engineering value and it can be usedto guide the design of anchor angle in similar projects.
