With the increase of vehicle holding, the city parking space becomes morenarrow, parking environment becomes more complex. Automatic parking techno-logy can reverse into parking space automatically or semi-automatically, in orderto reduce the driver’s operating pressure and the incidence of accidents.Automatic parking system can be divided into three parts: perception system,decision-making system, control system. In this paper, the image and ultrasonicsensor in perception system is discussed, the concrete contents can besummarized as three parts: ultrasonic ranging system, rear view camera systemand image processing system.Ultrasonic ranging is based on vehicle integrated ultrasonic probe, wedesign transceiver circuit, control circuit, communication circuit. Softwareimplementation includes ranging control, fault detection and informationtransmission. Finally, the thought of multi-probe combination work is given, inreversing warning and parking space detection.Rear view camera realizes the capture and display of the vehicle camera,based on the mainstream embedded system in car navigation: Wince. We set upthe Wince development environment, including the hardware environment andsystem transplantation etc. Based on the design flow of stream driver, weprogram the driver of video decoder. And we realize the capture and display inapplication layer refer to Directdraw technology. The experiment results showthe effectiveness of the program design.The image procession system is consisted of QT graphic user interface,OpenCV computer vision library and V4L2video interface, based on opensource embedded operation system Linux. The concrete work includes systemtransplantation, related library files transplantation, video capture and video display. The algorithm of parking line identification and people recognition isresearched preliminary, we give the realization of algorithm. The test resultsverify the function of test platform.
