With China’s rapid economic development and the modernization of the city,people’s attention is got by the utilization of underground space. Pipe-jacking as anunderground trenchless technology with its unique advantages has been widely used.Like with other trenchless technologies, impact on surrounding soil by pipe-jackingmethod is inevitable. If the surrounding soil displacement and deformation is too largewill be on adjacent buildings and facilities have an impact, Therefore the analysis on theimpact of surrounding soil by propulsion of large diameter pipe-jacking, one of futuretrenchless technology, is an urgent and important topic.In this paper, Taiyuan FenDong Business District People’s road project as thebackground, through on-site testing, three-dimensional finite element simulation andtheoretical analysis on the process of pipe-jacking colosely spaced surrounding soildisturbance and ground movements carried out a systematic analysis.mainly theresearch and work include:1Research on bentonite slurry properties:In this paper, the structural characteristicsand the thixotropic slurry effects have been studied. Combined with model testes, theplan of grouting parameter optimization is proposed2The surrounding soil deformation by propulsion of closely spaced parallel pipeswith large diameter is studied by Field monitoring.including surface deformation of soil,deep soil deformation,earth pressure changes as well as on-site pipe-jackingconstruction records and test results analyzed.3The impact of pipe with large diameter jacking on the surrounding soil isanalysised in this paper. Based on numerical simulation theory; the finite elementsoftware ABAQUS works carried out3D numerical simulation reproduces the entireprocess of pipe jacking, pipe jacking has analyzed the process of surrounding soildisplacement and stress.Through the jacking theoretical analysis and numerical simulation analysis on thepipe-jacking with large diameter; Displacement penetration method is used to simulatethe construction process of pipe jacking; Reasonable simulation of soil loss and soilsurface pressure method is proposed by numerical simulation analysis of theconstruction site conditions, inversing the surrounding soil deformation by propulsionof closely spaced parallel pipes with large diameter to determine the mechanical effectsconstruction process with minimal impact on the surrounding environment in pipejacking operation control methods and construction parameters.
