Railway transportation plays a crucial role in our country social economic growth. Toenhance the ability of railway transportation, Passenger train high-speed and heavy load cargotrain is an important trend of railway transportation in China, at the same time it is also putforward higher request to the safety of railway transportation and reliable. Train speed andheavy load is fundamentally to test train braking performance. To ensure the safety of railway,it must be able to make the train stopped running time, Therefore it needs high reliability oftrain brake system as a guarantee.High-speed EMUs braking process with nonlinear characteristics, and with the increaseof the speed, the nonlinear characteristics are more obvious, so it will puts forward higherrequest to the train braking process control. This paper based on the train traction/brakingcharacteristic curve and system operation data, using the data-driven modeling methods,established multimodal braking models of train braking process. Concrete research is asfollows:1. By taking CRH2-300EMUs as an example, based on the analysis of the brakingsystem structure, characteristics and brake deceleration mode curve, multiple linear modelshave been proposed to approximate the nonlinear system with data-driven modeling method.2. According to the high-speed EMUs braking process is the multimodal braking processwhich composed with common braking of seven levels and emergency brake, the number ofthe optimization model is determined by the subtractive clustering and pattern classificationalgorithms. And then the recursive least square algorithm method is applied to establishmultiple linear models, after that according to the operation status of EMUs to select the mostoptimal braking model, constructing the braking models which can cover the all brakingconditions.3. In order to validate the efficiency of the modeling method in this paper, according tothe data sample of CRH380AL EMUs in the actual operation process, establishing the modelsof EMUs operation process, then simulation and analysis for the parking accuracy, safety andenergy consumption.Simulation results show that established dynamic mode for high-speed EMUs brakingprocess can realize EMUs safe and reliable braking, and at the same time, can reduce energyconsumption and achieve the goal of accurate parking.
