The hydraulic control valve is the core control components of the hydraulic system, it’sperformance has an important influence on the static and dynamic characteristics of the entirehydraulic system. The traditional hydraulic valve is complex, expensive, and there is someproblem of slow response, work noise. Moreover, the system’s pressure and flow werecontrolled by the sensor, which is not very convenient by signal. Therefore, to design a simplestructure, easy to control, fast responsed hydraulic valve has become a key issue in theresearch of the hydraulic control system at this stage.Magnetorheological fluid is being extensively studied and Application as a new material.Because of magnetorheological fluid can be transformed between solid and liquidcharacteristics in the magnetic field, it can be designed and produced magnetorheologicalvalve. Magnetorheological valve have no relatively moving parts, the structure is simple andreliable, convenient controlled and fast responsed, to effectively compensate the deficienciesof the traditional hydraulic valve, improve the dynamic and static characteristics of thehydraulic system.This thesis first introduces the development and application of traditional hydraulicvalves, research the magnetorheological fluid’s composition and working principle, explorethe research status of the magnetorheological valve in the domestic and international.Then specific analyze the magnetorheological valve’s working mode, designed threedifferent structures of double coil type magnetorheological valve, use the MAXWELLsoftware simulate magnetic field of these three structures valve to analyze and comparison ofthe optimal structure. Followed by a more in-depth simulation study of this structuremagneto-rheological valve. The structural parameters were optimized by ANSYS software.Finally, the pressure drop of this double coil type magnetorheological valve wascalculated, to research the relationship between the flow, current, damping gap and pressuredrop of the MR valve by MATLAB software.
