According to the results of mechanical properties of recycled concrete, thestrength and deformation capacity that were the shortcomings of recycled concretehave slightly lower than ordinary concrete, which also led to the reinforced recycledconcrete has been limited use in seismic regions. To promote the use range of recycledconcrete, it needs to solve the own shortcomings of recycled concrete throughcombining steel with recycled concrete effectively. It forms Steel Reinforced RecycledConcrete,which uses the advantages of steel that has high bearing capacity and largedeformation capacity. It can amplify the use range of recycled concrete in this way.At present, the study of SRRC long column about the seismic performance still ina blank, this paper analyses the feature of force and deformation of SRRC long columnunder cyclic loading through low cyclic loading tests of seven SRRC long columns.Through analyzing the hysteresis curve of SRRC long columns, it sums thereplacement rate、axial compression ratio and stirrup ratio having an influence on theSRRC long columns`seismic performance (including carrying capacity, energydissipation capacity, ductility and stiffness variation).The results show that thereplacement rate has weak influence on the seismic performance of SRRC,but the axialcompression ratio and stirrup ratio have a marked effect on the bearing capacity andductility of SRRC long column, which is the bearing capacity increasing as the axialcompression ratio grow,but the ductility and energy dissipation is not. As the stirrupratio increases, the ductility and energy dissipation is increasing, but the extent is reducing when the stirrup ratio exceeds a certain limit. The SRRC column has a betterseismic performance.Based on the low Cyclic test results of the SRRC long column, the SRRC column"sentinel point” trilinear restoring force model has been established, and gives theformula of feature points and the corresponding hysteretic rules, while analyzing thechange of stiffness with the displacement`s increase. The results of test coincides withthe calculation through comparing, so the proposed restoring force model can reflectthe SRRC column`s characteristics of force and deformation under earthquake. At last,the results of this study can provide a reference for elastoplastic seismic responseanalysis of this kind of structure.
