CFG pile composite foundation has been extremely widely used in the foundationtreatment of multistory building, high-rise building, super high-rise building, industrybuilding and other projects, and it has achieved very good economic and social benefits.However, the relevant theories and design methods still need further perfection. So ithas important engineering application value to carry out the research on theory andengineering properties of CFG pile composite foundation.On the basis of existing theoretical research and application status of CFG pilecomposite foundation, the research and analysis are made mainly in the followingaspects: First of all, the existing calculation methods of composite foundation settlementare discussed and compared, and a suitable settlement calculation method is chosen forCFG pile composite foundation. At the same time, several problems of compositefoundation are discussed, which include composite modulus of composite foundation,determination of minimum thickness of cushion, and the optimal design of thecomposite foundation. Second, the three-dimensional finite element simulation of CFGpile composite foundation under vertical load is made by using ABAQUS. And it isaimed primarily at different parameters, including elastic modulus of soil around pile,elastic modulus of soil at the bottom of pile, pile length, elastic modulus of pile, loadlevel, thickness and elastic modulus of cushion. The influence on the compositefoundation settlement, pile-soil stress ratio and the axial stress along pile because of thechanges of various parameters is studied. At the same time, the numerical analysisresults show that the composite modulus is unreasonable. Third, the three-dimensionalfinite element simulation of CFG pile composite foundation under horizontal load ismade, and the work character is compared and analyzed between pile foundation and composite foundation. At the same time, the work character is analyzed for CFG pilecomposite foundation under the seismic loading, and rigid pile composite foundationhas very good anti-seismic performance. Finally, according to the specific engineeringexamples, the three dimensional finite element model of CFG pile composite foundationis simulated, and application analysis of composite modulus expression is made, thenanalysis on accident cause has been studied from several aspects such as engineeringgeology, hydrological geology, the construction and Griffith theory.
