In the sandstorm, engineering structures will be corroded, the durability of Steelcoating will be affected, such conditions include collision stress distribution, interfacemechanics and injury, stress wave propagation, and other issues, the current research inthis area is less. The thesis is to refer to the extensive literature, based on the study of mytutor. aims at analyzing the whole process of sand flux’s crashing on the coating of thesteel structure. The Finite Element Method analysis was performed in the softwareANSYS/LS-DYNA,with whose help the simulation and comparison were finished. Thedetailed work is as follows:1.The theoretical and analogous analysis of the contact process of the sand flux’scrashing on coating were performed, including the contact radius, impact stress and thedistribution of the stresses on the face and the inside of the coating, combining the basicprinciple of contact dynamics and FEM.2. The distribution of stress on the matrix coating after the crash were analyzedtheoretically and simulated by FEM, which rules were also resolved, therefore theinterfacial crack and the damage criterion of interface edge were assessed practically.3. Sand particles impact coating, stress waves generated within the coating, thesestress waves propagate according to certain rules, and in the dissemination process stressvalues change constantly according to certain laws. These stress waves will launch in thecoating matrix interface, Reflected stress wave and the original incident stress wave issuperimposed. the superimposed stress amplitude becomes large. Lead to the occurrenceof a layer damage and heart-shaped damage.Finally, summarize the specific theory and simulation work of the paper, and discusesthe further research directions.
