Automated storage and retrieval system is an important equipment of storagewarehouse management area. Compared with traditional modules of storage, the verticalcarousel can save a lot of space and time, and allows effective real-time management.Currently, many industrial manufacturing and processing enterprise warehousemanagement are the artificial management, due to the inertia of people, it is hard to avoidnot classifying the small parts, misplacing or other issues. In view of this, in this paperwe mainly design an automated vertical carousel system which applied various parts ofthe manufacturing industry management, and some of its structure and movement of thebox bucket were analyzed.This article includes two parts. On the structure, it mainly includes the design of theframe body, the design of the powertrain and the design of the box bucket, and analysisthe box bucket bearing and movement. Its transmission process is the motor poweroutput will be sent to the gear reducer, the sprocket and chain run with the gear reducer,the chain flange group is installed on the large chain. The chain flange group doeshorizontal and vertical rotary motion in the inner and outer rails oriented. Thus boostingthe chambers do horizontal and vertical rotary motion, the tools will be delivered to thedesignated location. On the electrical control system, it uses Schneider M218PLC and itsexpansion module+PC control. It is reliable. PLC and PC use serial port communication.It is convenient for PC controlling PLC timeliness and collect the information of theoperation of electrical equipment timeliness and facilitate multi-machine network control.When the PLC receives the host computer control instructions, bin operation inaccordance with the specified layer and cargo space, are delivered to the mouth of theextract. When the PLC doesn’t receive the host computer control instructions, thechambers can be manually up or down operation. The manual transmission is mainly tofacilitate the commissioning of machinery and stocktaking, in accordance with therequirements of the operator manual positioning.The drive motor uses AC servo motorcontrolled by AC servo drive. It runs smoothly. It has smooth acceleration anddeceleration and high positioning accuracy. It can achieve soft start, smooth slow Parking and variable-speed running. Using the correlation sensor on the extract mouth to protectworkers’ security, ensure no misoperation in the equipment running. By the verticalcarousel structure of database systems and electrical control design and analysis, both toensure the smooth operation of the system and automation can achieve good.
