Simulation technology has been extensively used as a research tool in eletrical powersystem.It can be classified into two categories based on their differentimplementations:analog simulation and physical simulation,both of which have their ownadvantages and disadvantages.With the rapid development of power system,the traditionalpure digital simulation or pure physical simulation has failed to meet the requirements ofpower system studies.Therefore,the digital-physical hybrid simulation technology has beenpresented,which can combine digital and physical simulation method and bring bothfunctions into full plays.Currently the mature applicable standard of hybrid simulation hasnot been set up,and the research relating to this has still been in the simulation research orspecific experiments on particular case. The deeper thoretical analysis is lacked.This thesis first establish the overall structure of the digital-physical hybrid simulationsystem,and the frame of the interface connecting digital and physical subsystem based onthe Substitution Principle.Besides,the principles and characteristics of five popular interfacealgorithms are introduced.Second,this thesis focuses on the Ideal Transformer Model(ITM)interface algorithm.The principles and the stable conditions are discussed,and the methodsof improving system stability are raised.Third,a new interface algorithm based onimpedance compensation is proposed,the positive and negative equivalent impedance areused to ensure the system’s stability.The two interface algorithm theory above are verifiedby MATLAB and Real-time Digital Simulator(RTDS).Finally,since the long-distancetransmission of eletricity signals is a problem in hybrid simulation system in practice,thelong-distance eletricity signal transmission scheme is designed based on the hybridsimulation system in Guangdong Electric Power Research Institute,and the chassis whichcan achieve the function is produced.The test results proves that the electricity signals canbe transmitted in long-distance effectively using the proposed method,so the impact oflong-distance transmission on the system accuracy and stability can be reduced.
