Aiming at the actual requirement and the theory study of the hydrodynamic instabilityin the Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF), we investigate the hydrodynamic instability in theICF explosion, especially the Rayleigh-Taylor (RT) instability. By the method of numericalsimulation, we investigate the development of the ideal Rayleigh-Taylor instability and theRichtmyer-Meshkov (RM) instability, acquire the physical acknowledge of thehydrodynamic instability in the ICF explosion.Compared to a real Equation of State (QEOS), the ideal EOS (IEOS) is not capable ofreflecting the real features of the hydrodynamic instability in the ICF explosion very well,we investigate the structural model of the QEOS and apply it into the numerical simulationof the instability in the ICF explosion, acquire the results of the development of theRayleigh-Taylor instability in the ICF explosion.Analysis in Mathematica shows that, during the development of the Rayleigh-Taylorinstability, when it comes to the linear growth region, the1stharmonic amplitude of theinstability development of the IEOS is almost equal to but only a little smaller than the oneof the QEOS, which indicate that in the linear growth region, the growth rate of the QEOSis a little stronger than the one of the IEOS. While it should be noticed that, when it comesto the nonlinear growth region, the2rd harmonic amplitude of the instability developmentof the QEOS is markedly large than the IEOS, which illustrate that, in the nonlinear growthregion, the growth rate of the QEOS is quite stronger than the one of the IEOS.
