Porous medium combustion technology is a kind of novel and unique combustiontechnology, it has characteristics of larger specific surface area, good heat storage andtransfer performance. Compared with the traditional free diffused preliminary hybridcombustion, porous medium burner has advantages like small volume, load the adjustingrange is extensive, pollutant discharge less, combustion stability, high thermal efficiency,improve the radiation output rate and energy saving etc. Porous ceramic plate is one typeof many porous medium materials. It has good heat storage capacity and thermalconductivity, and has been widely used in our real life. In this paper numerical simulationresearch by using the Fluent software Based on the theoretical analysis and combustioncondition of The porous ceramic plate radiator are studied, The progress is Mainlycompleted in the following several aspects:Firstly, Establishing the porous ceramic plate radiator of single fire hole of threedimensional stability model, do the numerical simulation about porous medium burnerblends combustion by using the Fluent software. got the temperature field of the fire hole,each component concentration field, the location of the flame and flame temperature, firehole and panel temperature and CO generation and emissions. Finding that the porousceramic plate burner gas-air mixed gas combustion has three stages: Preheat stage,combustion stage and flue gas heat release stage, having the rules: Preheat phase gastemperature is inferior to the wall, burning phase gas temperature to rise significantly, fluegas heat release phase gas is above wall of the single hole, analyzed the ignition principleof the porous ceramic plate burner simply.Secondly, Through the change of four factors: the ceramic plate thermal conductivityand open porosity, excess air coefficient and thermal strength, Simulated research the firehole, It is concluded that the different factors of the flame position and temperature, andpanel temperature and CO generation and emissions, analyzed the reason for causing thedifference in each factor, The four factors that change will affect radiator combustioncharacteristic, but effect differently. Finally, Established the whole piece of porous ceramic plate physical models ofdifferent opening rates, Got the temperature distribution, Flame site and temperature andceramic plate and the temperature of the panel of different opening rates. And with asingle fire hole comparison, it is concluded that the differences, and analyze the causes,radiation efficiency of ceramic plate is greater than single fire hole, and more likely toproduce temper.
