| With the development of modern material science and technology, ship made ofclass fiber reinforced composite material (FRP) has become a trend. With programmablemechanical properties, glass fiber reinforced plastic processing is convenient, and hashigher specific strength and stiffness than the traditional metal materials, so itsapplication in the yacht structure is more and more widely. At the same time as the finiteelement analysis method and the development of computer science and technology, madethe finite element method of the entire ship has been developed. Compared with theempirical formula and the segment calculation method, the finite element calculation ofthe whole hull is more accurate and complete.This paper analyzes the strength of the glass fiber reinforced plastic yacht. Firstpresents the basic principle of the long and short term wave predictions methods and thedetermination of design wave process is given. Then, this paper used software SESAM,analyzed the ship motion in regular wave and wave load characteristics, combined withChina’s coastal long-term distribution of wave data distribution table for long-termforecast, and using the design wave method, we get the design wave parameters undervertical bending moment, shearing force and torque as the design of the transfer functionof wave parameters and the associated transient waves. Design wave method used todetermine the ship wave load have the advantage of small workload compared withspectral analysis method, and can simulate the real sea condition limit, get more accuratewave loads. And It’s making the strength calculation result more reasonable. Finally, theresults show that in the relatively poor working conditions, the strength of the ship canmeet the specification requirements.In this paper, the principle and method of FEM of whole ship is been studied. waveload prediction method, the principle of operating mode selection, load of theship,internal load calculation and technique of achieving inertia equilibrium for dynamic balance, boundary conditions of whole ship loads is developed. And the whole yacht hullstructural strength calculation process is forming. |
