The high-speed electric railway in full swing developing, indisputably becomes apopular short and long distance transport choice for its objective factors such as efficient,high-speed, large carrying capacity. It is an excellent choice for today’s energy-savingcalling. As a trouble-free operation to ensure the safety of high-speed rail catenary, thefoundation technology of the contact net develops from rear anchor to the embeddedchannel program. Then there is no mature experience to draw on in terms of design andperformance testing.Firstly, the embedded channel technology is introduced in detail. Embedded channeltechnology has advantages in technical performance, security performance, usingperformance, construction technology. Then stress performance of the channel isresearched by theoretical analysis as well as finite element analysis software ANSYS,including tension and shear mechanism, tensile property, shear property and the impactfactors. The ultimate bearing capacity is calculated by the theoretical formula. Lastly,20groups of test models are designed and put into tests to evaluate the ultimate failure loadand failure characteristics of the channel. After comparing the theoretical analysis to thetest done, the bearing capacity of the theoretical and test methods of the channel issummarized. The results of this study can provide an important reference for the embedded channelprogram in the high-speed rail tunnel, experience and reference programs can also test fordetection of the embedded channel.
