In nature there are some low-permeability soil slope,itself permeability is not good,the influence of rainfall should be very weak. On the contrary,the slope instability mostlyoccurred after heavy rainfall. Investigate its reason,collapsible crack and rainfall are themain factors of the slope instability,therefore,it is necessary to research into the slopecracking mechanism and penetration mechanism. And,furthermore,taking rainfall aspredisposing factor of the geological disaster,considering coupling effect of geomechanicalconditions and meteorological conditions and establishing mathematical mechanical modelof slope stability changes with time and slope stability prediction model have the importantpractical significance. On the base of linear elasticity, linear elastic fracture mechanicsand unsaturated soil mechanics,seepage analysis and stability analysis of swell-shrinkfissure soil slope were studied. Finally, BP neural network prediction model on slopestability were established by MATLAB. The primary contents are as follows:1On the base of linear elasticity and linear elastic fracture mechanics, crackingcriterion, Crack depth formula and crack spacing formula were presented.2By working with seepage analysis and stability analysis of swell-shrink fissure soilslope discovered that infiltration in crack zone is the main reason for the landslide,thesaturation state of fracture zone is substantially the most dangerous state, and the crackdepth is basically the lower limit of slip surface. The point reveals the mechanicalmechanism of the shallow slide.3With the expansive soil slope, the influence of cracking position,cracking depthand spacing,rainfall intensity and rainfall duration on the slope seepage and stability isdiscussed.4. BP neural network prediction model on slope stability were established byMATLAB,the result has also demonstrated that the proposed method is effective andfeasible.
