| Transmission tower is the main supporting structure in transmission lines,itsstructural performance will directly affect the safe operation of the transmissionlines.Operating experience shows that the methods such as extensive use of compositeinsulators cannot completely solve Lightning flashover, pollution flashover and icingflashover of transmission lines.Thereforethe purpose of this paper is todesign the newtransmission towerto solve these problems of the traditional towers.Based on the good performance of composite materials, thearticlecompletedstructure and the electrical design of three kindsnew compositematerials towers according to the various specifications and standards in design oftransmission lines and materials engineering.Based on ANSYS platform,taking transmission towers andlines of the actualproject as prototypes and extracted thekey factors of that, combingwith themathematical characteristics of elements established the finite element modelsoftowers,to set up the transmission tower-line system as a whole finite elementmodel.Taking the existing national and international transmission line structuralloadcalculation standard as reference,completed the loads calculation of compositematerials towers in sixkinds of working condition.The results show thatthe maximumdeflection are less than0.5%of the shaft height,thestrength of composite materialstower satisfies the demands of load of transmission line.Duetothetallandslendercharactersoftower, thearticleanalyzed the dynamiccharacters of composite materials towers in rain-wind load.The Davenport spectrum ischosen as target spectrum,the stochastic fluctuating wind is simulated by ARmethod.By the M-P rain spectrum,the simulation method of rain is presented,the rainload time marching is simulated.The dynamic analysis of the transmission tower linesystem is calculated subject to wind load and rain-wind load.The results show that thealong-wind displacement of tower top is increased the stochastic fluctuatingwind,therain load has effect to the displacement of the tower-line system.At the same time theeffect is more when the rain is bigger.Under the condition of strong storm,displacement increment reached more than10%.Based on large rainfall in coastal areaand low modulus of elasticity of composite materials,rain loadshould be consideredasthe design load in the design of composite tower. Theresultsdemonstratethatthe composite materials tower of transmission line isfeasible and applied. |
