The Swithed Reluctance Motor(SRM) has been wiedly applied in many fields because ofthe advantages of simple structure, flexible control strategy and low cost.Switched ReluctanceDrive System(SRD) is a new drive system with high potential after the application of AC orDC motor drive system. The running of SRM is controlled under exciding different phasewindings by appropriate sequence, thus the position detection is a very important part of thedrive system. But the conditional position-sensor causes the SRM performance to the certainlimitation, which rises the cost and adds the complexity of SRD.As a result, the sensorless forcontrol of SRM has become one major direction in the study of SRD.The thesis analyzes the structure and operatiion principle of SRM,using the linearinductance model of SRM, a simulation model of SRD was built up.And based on the directtorque control of motor, reduced torque ripple in SRD.Based on state observer method, thesliding model observer(SMO) was prosed for sensorless detection, which only needs themeasurement of phase voltage and current to estimate motor position.Based on designing ofthe control system with sliding model observer, simulation results demonstrate theapplicability and robustress.A core controller based on TMS320F2812DSP was introduced inthis paper, and the designed SRD circuit includs the main circuit control module、powerconverter、voltage detection module、current detection module and speed detection module. This paper also describes the design of the whole system software. Control systemsoftware worked in the CCS3.3environment, used C language to compile the current chopperprocedures, direct torque control procedures and other related subprogram,it has realized themotor current chopper start and has laid the foundation for further research.
