With the rapid development of the high-speed trains, the speed is on a fast increaseand it is more and more convenient for travel. However, the problems of stationarity,noise etc. appear to be serious comfort issues. The interior noise environment has animportant effect on the passengers’ comfort. If people stay in a bad acousticenvironment long, people would become tired and annoying easily, leading to influenceon people’s normal life. At the same time, the high-speed train will lose itscompetitiveness. Therefore, the research on interior noise environment of thehigh-speed trains needs to draw attention. In the noise environment, sound quality is thekey factor in the acoustic environment, so this paper focuses on the interior soundquality of high-speed trains. Through studying the physical properties by sound fieldsimulation and objective and subjective evaluation on interior noise, the relationshipbetween physical and psychoacoustic properties are researched and the BP neuralnetwork of sound quality evaluation is established, which could predict the humanperception on interior noise.Interior sound field simulation by statistical energy analysis (SEA). The SEAmodel of the passenger’s room of the high-speed train is established. Then the mainexcitations when the train is in motion are decided. Combining with the SEA lossfactors, the excitations are added to the model and the sound field is simulated. Afterthat, the physical properties are analyzed, and the simulation results are validated by thecollected noise signals.Evaluation on the interior sound quality. In the objective aspect, the differentcalculation methods and characteristics of different psychoacoustic properties areanalyzed and compared. In the subjective aspect, subjects are chosen to conductsubjective evaluation experiments. Then correlation and cluster analysis are done on theresults. The type of the subjective evaluation, and the psychoacoustic properties whichare effective and could be applied in the neural network are determined throughcorrelation analysis between subjective evaluation and objective psychoacousticproperties.Neural network establishment of sound quality evaluation. The objective and subjective evaluation of the interior noise sound quality of high-speed trains are taken asthe input and the output. Then with the structure and main parameters of the network,the neural network with the function of subjective evaluation result prediction isestablished. Through simulation by the network, the calculation methods of thepsychoacoustic properties are settled down according to the subjective perception, andthe relationship between physical and psychoacoustic properties are studied.
