Electric forklifts are used more and more widely as a short distance handlingtools. Electric forklifts uses batteries as power source by which the electric energyis released and passed to each component in the drive system in turn to ensureelectric forklift complete the walking and lifting. The parameters matching of theelectric forklift transmission system plays a key role in improving vehicleperformance and using energy sufficiently. The electric forklift transmission systemincludes a driving system and a lifting system. The parameters matching of drivingsystem can improve vehicle capacity of road and work efficiency. And theparameters matching of lifting system can make the forks achieve the desired liftheight at ideal speed and improve the loading and unloading efficiency. The validityand reliability of the parameters matching of the transmission can be verified byelectric forklift energy consumption, dynamic performance and lifting performancesimulation analysis.Firstly, several layouts and main structures of electric forklift transmissionsystems are analyzed. Then the types of main power components are selectedincluding driving motor, lifting motor and power battery etc. The battery is the keyrestricting the development of electric forklifts. In this thesis Zinc-Air Battery withenvironmental protection, has high specific energy and high capacity is selected. And the driving motor and lifting motor are both DC motors with simple structureand mature technologies. On the basis of previous work, electric forklift work states,GB requirements and design objectives, the parameters matching of electric forkliftdriving system and lifting systems is completed. At last the electric forkliftsimulation model is built with Advisor software using its secondary development. And the energy consumption, acceleration and grade ability are simulated andanalyzed. The3D model of lifting system is built by Catia software and thenimported into Adams to obtain the dynamic model of lifting system and completethe dynamic simulation for lifting system. The simulation results show that theparameters matching of transmission system can meet the electric forklift drivingperformance and energy consumption test requirements, and the forks can achievemaximum lifting height and lifting speed with/without load.Parameters matching and simulation for the electric forklift transmission inthis thesis can provide effective reference for electric forklift development, shortenthe development cycle and reduce the research and development costs.
