As the development of the whole society, the feeling of living has become one ofthe most important concerns. Besides safety consideration, the comfort level of astructure under normal working state has been brought onto the table and discussedmore for structural design. With the introduction of new techniques, larger span andbigger cantilever structures have been used. However, these structures may happen tohave vibration un-comfort issues. This paper has taken the Shenzhen activity centeras an engineering back ground. The purpose of the paper is to determine the comfortlevel of annular floor supported by inclined arch under human activity, compare thevibration mode with regular big span floor and find out the factors which couldimprove comfort levels.Lots of researches have been done by people from all around of the world. Sothis paper has taken a review of the theory of vibration in the floor under movingloads and a representative calculation method. It has compared the comfort standardsto provide a theoretical background for the next study. For the complexity of floor’ vibration which supported by inclined arch, it hastaken modal analysis and steady-state harmonic response analysis to determine thestructure’s frequency. The floor first order frequency is1.95Hz which is in theresonance range caused by normal human activity. Since there is no uniform codeabout how to add the loads and how many loads will be used, so this paper hasprovide four methods to analysis. They are formula theoretical calculation, load by aperson in a place, load by a walking person and load by random crowd. This paper has used a more general structure of annular floor supported byinclined arch. It has taken steady-state harmonic response analysis and accelerationanalysis to find factors affecting vibration comfort. It has calculated the four orderharmonic load’s response coefficients to make a clearer understanding about thefactors that affect the comfort of floor. In results, the floor’s first order frequencydoesn’t majorly effect the whole vibration as other large span slab structures do,which means adjusting comfort level by changing the first order frequency is notsufficient enough. For structures like annular floor supported by inclined arch, humanactivity could only cause local vibration.
