| In the urban public transportation system, rail transit plays a leading role in theurban passenger transport, with the advantages of large capacity, high speed, high ef-ficiency and punctuality. Developing rail transit is the important part of the urban traf-fic development strategy in many cities. However, our country doesn’t fully considerthe issues of coordination and connection between the built urban rail transit and theregular public transit in the urban rail transit network planning stage. It caused thepassenger flow cannot gather and distribute fast and easily, the passengers feel the in-convenient of transfer, and reducing the attractiveness of rail transit to the passengers.Consequently, it cannot give fully play to the advantages of urban rail transit. There-fore, how to make the regular public transit and urban rail transit connect much betteris the key. In this paper, through researching the attraction area of rail transit station,and on the basis of the demand distribution prediction of public transit in Nanchang, ithas adjusted and optimized the existing regular public transit network connection andnew feeder public transit network.In the research of the attraction area of regular public transit passenger flow atthe rail station, it classifies the rail station by considering the different transportationfunction of rail station with the different land usage. And also, it analyses the passen-ger flow attraction area at the different type of stations by applying aggregation effect.In the public transit demand distribution prediction study, it adopts “Four Stage Me-thod†to predict traffic demand volume distribution through partitioning the study areaof Nanchang rail transit No.1Line into several traffic areas. Taking Nanchang railtransit No.1Line as the study object, through investigating the cross-section, peakhour traffic and public transit current situation of the roads along No.1Line, it pro-poses adjustment method based on the existing regular public transit network of No.1Line. It lays new feeder public transit lines at the stations that don’t meet the rail con-nection demand after adjusting. Taking the maximum density of through passengerflow and the minimum total travel time as two-stage optimization object, it builds thenew connection public transit network optimization model and solves it by utilizinggenetic algorithm. Afterwards taking Zigu Road, Bayi Hall, Bayi Square the three railtransit stations as an example, it obtained the layout scheme of new connection publictransit line. |
