Culture is the soul of humanity, it is based on the material in the form of spirit, it isthe soul of the landscape. Early in eighteenth Century, the famous British pastoral poetWilliam Wordsworth emphasized "space emotion"; China’s well-known scholar ChenJunyu academician has raised a new concept of "culture", fully reflects the importance ofculture in the landscape environment. But in the world of garden art history, those whobecome an independent school garden style not reproduce the local landscape featuremodel, such as the traditional Chinese landscape garden reproduction with landscape asthe distinctive characteristics of land features and landscape gardening as a representativeof civil culture. Because of the regional cultural landscape to specific cultural connotationinterpretation of specific regions, and then create a unique cultural landscape, so as toinherit and carry forward the regional culture, this paper studied for its application in citypark.This paper takes Gansu province Shandan County City Park as an example, throughthe methods of literature study, analogy analysis and deductive reasoning to explore howto Shandan regional culture used in city park construction, eventually combined withtheir own innovative ideas that global concept, artistic rendering method, representation,metaphor and folk art performance method application details geographical environmentand residents’ environmental values to the elements of regional culture in Shandanconcrete landscape form, at the same time, summarize the method analyzes each methodand relationship between the common construction of city park.The results show that the artistic conception, guide people to feel the culturallandscape of the greatest identity and humanistic care; through the extraction of regionalculture, humanities and natural elements in the landscape form integrates culture, natural landscape; full of regional culture landscape space gives a person with regional identityand soul the sense of belonging; inheriting and carrying forward the Shandan regionalculture; through the introduction of Shandan regional ecological cultural elements andmeet residents’ environmental values of green environment, construct the city green space;through the design of introducing geographical culture and humane, construction of thehuman, natural, cultural mutual infection art district.Throughout the domestic and abroad on the regional culture landscape study theoryand landscape practice, innovation of this paper lies in: consider the specificcircumstances of people for the environment defect requirements based on region cultureelements; extraction simple to create artistic conception far-reaching cultural landscape;sustainable landscape of low carbon region culture and nature, integration.
