As the concept of energy-saving building is deeply rooted in the hearts of thepeople, the maximum limit of saving energy has become the primary problem. Whenpublic building provides services for people, a large amount of electricity is stillconsumed, in which the light environment of the building take up a large share of thetotal power consumption. So it has great practical significance for public building toeffectively reduce the power consumption of the light environment. At present, thecontrol system of the light environment in the common public building can onlycontrol the switch of lamps and lanterns to a certain degree, making the rate ofmisjudgment high and the accuracy low, which causes the great waste of electricpower. Therefore, according to the real-time situation of the light environment in thepublic building, making full use of the scientific method, it has very importantapplication value to make accurate judgment and optimal control.This paper combines with research work on the project supported by theNational Natural Science Foundation of China,“Study on Optimization and EnergySaving Control of Artificial Light Environment in Flowing Space”. Aiming at thecharacteristics of the light environment in the public building, the advantages anddisadvantages of the common intelligent lighting control system are analyzed,combining with all the pros and cons, and the five elements of the optimal control oflight environment are offered. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the commonintelligent lighting control system, light environment optimization and controlsystem based on image processing and neural network is proposed. Main researchwork is divided into three aspects as followed: (1)According to the light environment control system based on imageprocessing, the overall scheme design of system is made from solution overview,algorithm processing and major device selection, which is evaluated and comparedwith other control scheme, to prove the superiority of this scheme.(2)The light environment control system based on STM32chip is put forward,and the hardware system is set up, on the basis of which the software design of eachmodule is completed ultimately; debugging is carried out at the same time to makethe system possess the basic function that is needed to implement.(3)Take the classroom as the background, the algorithm of improved imageprocessing is adopted to test the light environment of the classroom, at the same time,the number and location of personnel is calculated precisely, finally makingreasonable and accurate judgment, in order to make optimization control to the lightenvironment.
