A Study On The Cultural Design Of Public Buildings In The Subway Station

With the rapid development of the city, it is very important to keep the historicalprecipitation in the course of perfecting urban functions and propelling the city constructions,which becomes a brand-new topic is to create the unique regional style and spirit for everycity of their own.Culture is the spiritual pillar of a nation. People on the same land had one home, thathome is not just the land, it’s the cultural element that makes the people’s mind blending andcan’t wipe away wherever you go. Such as customs, dialect, folk songs, drama, festivals,customs etc. Other examples like the endemic horse-race in Tibet, the Water-SprinklingFestival of the Dai, and the roaring of Shaanxi opera in ancient city--Xi’an, these activitieshave already been deeply engraved in the natives’ mind. However, with the developmentlasting, sometimes, the busier life makes people insensitive. Then, here comes a new form ofculture element after we realized the problem. This form occurred naturally, and it’s anincidental combination between different art forms. This makes the invisible and voiced artform settled in the public space.The “Shaanxi opera” fresco that we researched in the project “Clock tower Station’s‘Shaanxi Opera‘cultural wall design in the Xi’an Metro” compressed the opera culture whichriding endemic art form into the fast-paced public underground traffic space., it is shapingconstruction field infected people live in a fast-paced urban pace walk through the subway,evokes the heart’s perception of life to get back the balance of the time axis, as Einstein saidspace and time is an integral four-dimensional continuum and the bustling city of ancientcolor the old chamber Zhefan implication. Culture is the spirit and soul of the architecturaldecoration, architectural decoration to change and shape with the construction field, construction field but also affect people’s lives. Integration into the cultural essence of thepeople’s living conditions in urban public buildings, including the pace of life and spiritartistically are of great significance.
