The bearing is called "mechanical joint", with the rapid development ofmachinery, electronics, especially in the aerospace and precision machinerymanufacturing technology, and its precision and quality are also improving. Thin wallbearing is the thinnest wall thickness in bearing dimension series, often used in theplace that need for precise control or no-demounting, so it needs the extremelyaccuracy requirement. In order to meet the bearing ring outer contour detection needs,this paper study existing detection methods and trends, focuses on the principle ofprojection measurement through comparative analysis; The measurement program isintended, the composition and structure of the measuring instrument is studied, thetypes and parameters of component is selected, then measuring instrument bench isestablished; the forms of communication is analyzed that between the varioussubsystems of the measuring instrument, theoretical research on filtering processing ofmeasurement data is studied, experimental measurements of surface roughness isconducted on the basis of theory, eventually, the feasibility of the authenticationscheme is analyzed.3D profile measurement principle of projection is thoroughly analyzed andresearched. Through the thin wall bearing ring parameters and analysis of thecharacteristics to be detected, based on those principles of the linear structured light,grating measurement and the sub pixel location algorithm, the information of measuredpoint on CCD(Charge Coupled Device) projection could be gotten; The light source,lighting manners, the detection light path and many other factors were taken intoaccount, the program in this paper uses two probes to measure, which is composed byLED(Light Emitting Diode) solid-state light source in a back-illuminated manner.Through the analysis of measuring method and component structure theoryresearch, a special thin-walled ring profile detector is established. The measuringinstrument bench uses a new method to locate rings, which using the principle of thedifferential pressure that from the cyclone field. Such a device ensures the ring in the probe effective detection range; the stepper motor driven translation stage to movewith probes, high precision ball screw and high precision linear slide rails together toform the translation stage, all above those ensure probes have the accurate positioningin the vertical direction.The paper has researched on the calibration technology of optical probecomponents, communication principle between computer and optical probecomponents. After the noise which is made during the process of data collection inmeasuring system has been analyzed, the finite impulse response (FIR) filter is used tofilter the signal.A measurement experiment is carried out in order to verify the feasibility of thedetector though comparison and analysis of the experiment results. The main error ofdetector and the error source is analyzed. Some improve and perfect measures to thesystem are put forward based on the theory of error analysis at last.
