As major controlled engineering project, the super-long tunnel will systematically considerprogress, ventilation, electrical and mechanical, safety, fire and other factors, in the planning anddesign stage. Those will increase work excavation of ventilation shaft, incline shaft, and other kindauxiliary chamber, The increasing auxiliary cavity structure, not only creates the working area forspeed up the progress of super-long tunnel, but also makes the large headroom near the crosslinking place. Under the spatial effect, these different functions subsidiary structure make thewhole tunnel structure stress and deformation shows a very uneven.According to the basis program of Ma Ya zi tunnel of Wu Guan (Wu du to Guan zi gou)Highway Construction, the paper select3observation sections of interactive part between of rightmain tunnel and ventilation shafts to study on space effect of surrounding rock deformation andstress distribution under the condition of tunnel excavation and support process space effect ofsurrounding. After summarize the rock deformation and stress distribution, the article gives somereasonable suggestions and measures to refine design of supporting structure. The main contents ofthis study including:1. Analyzing surrounding rock loading effect of interaction part of the long deep tunnel:This paper selects interaction region rock of Ma Ya zi Tunnel as studying subject, arranging3monitoring sections to observe the rock’s displacement and stress distribution, then analyzing rockdisplacement and stress strait preliminarily.2. simulating interaction region rock by using finite element softwareUsing the finite element software MIDAS/GTS, establishes a simplified model of interactionregion rock. Also we adopt proper material property parameters, simulating the constructioncondition in the site. By comparing with the observation data previously we have, sum up theinteractive section rock’s distribution of stress and deformation during excavation and supportingwork period.
